Art is not just for museums and the few, art is at its best when it is for community with the purpose of enriching the cultural ecology of the neighborhood. Art painted for and with the community has a “spill over effect” that results in “stronger community and civic engagement, better health, schooling, and personal security…”* These are the results that Musepaints strives to achieve through their work. Artwork that is created with listening ears, an empathetic mind, and joyful artistic expression. Created with love to show “you matter” and “we care.” Musepaints “Spilling Over” intends to show the visual power of art as the succulent’s vibrant color spills, splatters, and drips over into the overlooked countryside. The color and light bring movement and joy to the landscape, cascading to the far reaches of the horizon and the beyond.
