22×30″ Lino-press art with a water color interventionVICTOR LÓPEZ SEMBLANZA Victor López was born in Oaxaca de Juárez Oax, on June 1, 1989. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Autonomous University of Querétaro.  His work constantly explores his Zapotec identity, and how it is re-posed and reconstructed from its current historical-social context.  He has presented his work individually in important venues such as the Regional Museum of the State of Querétaro and the Rosario Sánchez de Lozada municipal gallery in the same state.  He has participated in more than 40 national and international group exhibitions.  He has been selected in different graphic biennials at the national level, among which they stand out;  The 5th and 6th Shinzaburo Takeda engraving biennial held in the city of Oaxaca de Juárez Selected to participate in the “Native Corn” exhibition organized by Mtro.  Francisco Toledo in protest against the use of transgenic corn, held at the San Agustín Arts Center, Oaxaca Oax.
